good VG Music

I'm not talking about custom SMW tracks here, but which VG's do you think have the best music?
IMO the Jazz Jackrabbit series has awesome music. I only played JJ2, but the music was (one of) the main reason(s) that I wanted to download the game at home.
I found a download link for all the JJ2 tracks, including the christmas game add-on music and The Secret Files.

(I'm talking about Medivo here, but because these aren't in mp3 format and all seperately downloadable I thought I'd give you the pack). for the seperate downloads you'll need MODplug player to listen and that plater can convert to WAV, if you'd ever be interested in putting these on something like an ipod. also, on that page Labrat sounds a bit different and so does the menu music.

anyways... please leave your opinion about the tracks and post some of your own favs

If you guys want good VG music i suggest the Touhou series of music, its got nice tunes to it XD I would post a download link to 1 of the good collections but i busy finding the link XD i'll post it soon

damn right touhou has great music :D
I also think spyro the dragon has some awesome music, especially part 1. my fav from part 3 is fireworks factory.
and of course almost every track in IWBTG is very good (think of the Guilty Gear music, the epic Mecha birdo boss fight and the Dr. Wily track). if there's gonna be anything else that comes to mind I'll tell :P

a good game series with great music is the Jet Set Radio series, i doubt you've heard of it but its has a great soundtrack

heard protonjon mention it but I don't know anything about it.

and it definitely helps a lot with the nice gameplay. I seriously wish there would ever be a sequel. tho some people say it's never gonna happen I heard that there's a chance. a small one, but at least there's hope.

the TSF one has a levelpack included called Queen of Board. it's a very hard pack, originally designed to be one huge (thus frustrating) level. you can find it among your home cooked levels as Ml_QobMenu.

I think bionic commando has the best soundtrack. Next is MGS4 for sure.

definitely not all, but music is a big part of games so bad tracks couls mean bad games amirite? like Die HJard for the NES (yeah I've been watching AVGN).

There were also some good tracks in SSX 3, but I don't really think I can call them VG music. oh well, some were pretty awesome and that's wahat it's about :P

all of a sudden I remember the game... never played it, but I saw some footage and heard one particular track of it (let mom sleep) on FFR and Stepmania.
